Sr. Cost Accountant – Contract
Job Title: Sr. Cost Accountant – Contract
Location: Tampa, FL
Work Schedule: Hybrid – 4 days on site, 1 day WFH.
Contract Length: ASAP to December 31, 2027
Reason: Internal SAP ERP implementation project.
Salary: $45–$57 per hour.
Qualifications
2+ years of accounting experience.
2 years of SAP experience.
Cost accounting experience.
SOX knowledge.
Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP).
Bachelor's degree.
Nice-to-Have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Corporate Accounting Manager – Cost
Job Title: Corporate Accounting Manager – Cost.
Location: Tampa, FL.
Work Schedule: Hybrid – 4 days on site, 1 day WFH.
Contract Length: ASAP to December 31, 2027.
Reason: Internal SAP ERP implementation project.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee monthly cost close process, including inventory and COGS analysis, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Maintain and enhance costing methodologies, standard costs, and ERP (SAP) cost structures.
Analyze manufacturing variances (labor, overhead, materials) and provide actionable insights.
Partner with operations and FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and cost modeling.
Ensure accuracy of inventory valuation, internal controls, and SOX compliance.
Support internal and external audits and collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve issues.
Requirements
5+ years of accounting experience, heavily focused on costing.
Experience managing direct reports.
Proficiency in SAP.
Advanced Excel skills.
Experience with PowerBI and SQL.
Bachelor's degree.
Nice-to-Have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
