Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the efficient operation of a warehouse or distribution center. This includes receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials and products while ensuring accuracy, safety, and inventory integrity. The Warehouse Associate works as part of a team to maintain a clean, organized, and productive work environment and may operate forklifts or other material handling equipment as needed.
Qualifications
Duties
Process, package, and ship orders accurately.
Organize and maintain inventory.
Inspect products for defects and damage.
Examine incoming and outgoing shipments.
Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately.
Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
Keep the warehouse clean and organized daily.
Abide by all company safety and regulations.
Operate forklift or other heavy machinery as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Abilities
Proven warehouse experience
Adequate knowledge of warehouse data systems.
Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
Team player with organizational skills.
Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
Education/Experience
High school diploma or GED
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand, walk, push, bend and/or squat for 10+ hours in a day.
Must be able to lift up to 50 Ibs at a time.
Regularly perform repetitive tasks
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to work in a manufacturing facility environment.
