
Shipping, Receiving, and Warehousing - Day Shift (2208)

The ALPOLIC Division of Mitsubishi Chemical America is seeking a dedicated Shipping, Receiving, and Warehousing (SRW) Operator to join our day‑shift logistics team. This full‑time position operates on a 12‑hour schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:15 PM, following a biweekly rotation in which employees work four days one week and three days the next, with every other weekend a three‑day weekend off. This unique shift structure means team members work the equivalent of six months per year while receiving full‑time pay and benefits.
The starting pay for this position is $17.00 per hour with open progression opportunities through our Pay‑for‑Skills program as additional competencies are achieved. An additional $0.34 per hour is paid for day shift differential, and those scheduled on weekends earn an extra $2.00 per hour weekend premium. This role is also eligible to participate in our annual profit‑sharing bonus program, offering further earning potential as part of our commitment to rewarding team performance and company success.
The SRW Operator is responsible for warehouse operations activities including shipping and receiving, deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting warehouse transactions, maintaining records, and overseeing the storage of surplus inventory and property. The SRW operator is also responsible for packaging finished goods from the production line and packing finished goods orders for customer shipment.
Responsibilities

Control and operate equipment safely
Provide value to our customers through effective operations of assigned work area and support to the facility
Support Supervisors and team in training and cross‑training efforts
Deliver orders to faculty and staff
Ship canceled and damaged items back to vendors as appropriate
Forklift license may be required for position and will be issued by Mitsubishi
Other duties as assigned

Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
One to two years of shipping and receiving experience preferred
Forklift experience preferred
Knowledge
Must be proficient with woodworking equipment such as saws, pneumatic nails, and staple guns
Basic math skills and effective use of the metric system
Skills
Fluent in spoken and written English
Legible handwriting for document completion

Must be able to push/pull material using hand cart or pallet jack
Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
Occasional lifting up of 50 lbs.
Infrequent lifting up to 75 lbs.
Moderate exposure to temperature change in non‑climate‑controlled environment with potential of working near heated processes
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $17.00 – $19.34. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job‑related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
