Shipping, Receiving & Warehousing (SRW) Associate
We are hiring Shipping, Receiving & Warehousing (SRW) Associates to support warehouse and logistics operations in Chesapeake, VA. This is a contract‑to‑hire opportunity with long shifts, consistent hours, and strong potential for long‑term placement for dependable, motivated candidates. This role is well‑suited for individuals who enjoy hands‑on work, take pride in accuracy, and work well as part of a team.
Available Shifts
Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:15 PM, rotating schedule alternating 3‑day and 4‑day workweeks, overtime at time and a half.
Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:15 AM, rotating schedule alternating 3‑day and 4‑day workweeks, overtime at time and a half.
Pay Rate
$17.00 per hour
Shift differentials may apply depending on assignment
What You’ll Do
Perform shipping and receiving activities, including preparing finished goods for customer shipment
Package finished products from the production line
Pack, unpack, and visually inspect materials for quality and accuracy
Coordinate stock and assist with inventory storage and organization
Document warehouse transactions and maintain accurate records
Build pallets and move large sheets as part of two‑person tasks
Deliver orders internally and assist with returning canceled or damaged items to vendors
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
Adhere to all safety and environmental rules
Safely operate tools and equipment used in warehouse operations
Support supervisors and teammates with training and cross‑training
Perform other duties as assigned
A forklift license may be required for this position and will be provided on site if needed.

Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience
Comfortable performing repetitive manual labor while standing for the full shift
Ability to lift and move large materials with team assistance
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Team‑oriented mindset in a close‑knit work environment
Work Environment
Non‑climate‑controlled manufacturing facility
Steel‑toe boots required (employee provided)
PPE provided (gloves, safety glasses, hard hat)
