
Corporate Tax Manager

As a Corporate Tax Manager, you’ll drive our tax team’s growth and strategy. We seek someone with solid federal and state tax experience and proven leadership skills. Reporting to the VP of Tax, you’ll enjoy opportunities for advancement in a collaborative environment.

Job Duties & Functions
Tax Compliance & Reporting
Review the federal and state income and franchise tax return in-house preparation.
Manage the annual ASC 740 tax provision process with external tax consultants.
Track filing deadlines and delegate resources appropriately.
Review monthly posting of tax journal entries to the general ledger.
Review taxable income estimates for purposes of quarterly estimated tax payments.
Leadership & Team Development
Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff.
Build cross-functional relationships to perform necessary tax duties
Tax Research & Process Improvement
Research and stay current on U.S. tax law.
Identify and implement process efficiencies.
Resolve notices and audits with tax authorities.
Manage special projects and duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
5+ years in Federal 1120 income tax compliance and ASC 740
Active CPA license, or +50% towards actively getting it.
Experience leading a tax team
Public accounting required, and international tax experience preferred
