Development Coordinator (Operations)
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Development Coordinator to support operations and advancement efforts within a mission‑driven organization focused on expanding educational opportunities for PreK–12 students.
This role plays a key part in donor engagement, campaign execution, data management, and operational support. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where they will help strengthen internal processes, improve reporting, and support fundraising and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Support execution of fundraising campaigns, appeals, and events
Maintain and manage donor databases (Salesforce experience strongly preferred)
Generate reports and analyze donor data and trends
Communicate with donors, corporate partners, and stakeholders in a professional, service‑oriented manner
Assist with improving operational processes and system efficiencies
Support communications and coordination across internal teams and external partners
Represent the organization at events and meetings as needed
Assist with day‑to‑day development and operational tasks
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred (nonprofit, business, or related field)
1+ year of experience in nonprofit operations, fundraising, or related field
Strong organizational and project management skills
Experience with donor databases; Salesforce experience strongly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Proactive, collaborative, and detail‑oriented mindset
Interest in mission‑driven, education‑focused work
