Systel’s business is growing, especially with product which needs conformal coating. We are looking for a bright and motivated individual to join our production team with primary responsibility for conformally coating electronics, both by hand and with our Specialty Coating Systems automated machine. This individual will need to be/become a subject matter expert in programming the machine, reworking boards with conformal coating quality issues, and establishing best practices for conformal coating production. In addition, this individual will need to be a strong team player, focused on helping the overall organization be successful, and flexing over to assist with assembly work when needed.
Who You Are
Systel is currently hiring for a Test Operator that will be responsible for all testing activities associated with assuring product function and configuration. The Test operator will test personal computers and peripherals according to work instructions and input from lead personnel.
Responsibilities
All work activities shall be conducted in a manner that supports Systel’s Quality Manual, Quality Policy, Quality Objectives.
Configuring BIOS according to work instructions.
Installing operating systems.
Installing images.
Testing all computer ports for functionality.
Loading diagnostic programs and starting computers for burn-in testing.
Final testing of computer systems and peripherals to ensure that outgoing product meets all functionality parameters, customer specified requirements and quality requirements.
Maintaining professional work behavior.
Maintaining a safe work environment.
Maintaining an organized work environment and practicing good housekeeping.
Performing Hotpot and Ground-bond testing to ensure product safety.
Perform other work-related duties assigned.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
Ability to set up and configure computer BIOS.
Ability to install operating systems and images.
Ability to identify problems and potential problems related to computer functionality as compared to work instructions and software operation.
Ability to install peripheral drivers and check operation of such.
