We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Administrative Assistant to support our personal injury legal team. This role is essential to ensuring efficient case management and excellent client service. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal injury law and familiarity with medical records, along with strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and prepare demand packages for personal injury cases
Order, track, and organize medical records and bills
Conduct regular client follow-ups to provide case updates and gather information
Maintain and update case files, both electronically and physically
Assist attorneys and paralegals with administrative and case-related tasks
Manage correspondence with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies
Schedule appointments, deadlines, and maintain calendars
Perform other administrative duties as needed to support the legal team
Qualifications
Prior experience in a personal injury law firm preferred
Familiarity with medical records and billing processes strongly desired
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
