Responsibilities
Assist in managing a criminal defense caseload from start to finish
Draft motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
Conduct legal research and develop a case strategy
Communicate directly with clients, prosecutors, and court personnel
Appear in court for hearings and, as appropriate, trials
Prepare witnesses and assist in trial presentation
Qualifications
Licensed attorney
Strong work ethic and willingness to put in the time required to excel
Interest in criminal defense and trial advocacy
Ability to take feedback, adapt quickly, and continuously improve
Excellent oral advocate with good writing, research, and communication skills
Comfort in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
Compensation
$90,000 per year
