Basic Qualifications

Active Final SECRET clearance required prior to starting.

Must possess DoD 8140 IAT Level II compliant certificate such as CompTIA Security+ CE or other certs such as CISSP or CASP. If you don't have the certification on the start date, you must be able to obtain the certification within 90 days of starting.

Experience with system administration in both Windows Server and Linux operating systems.

Experience supporting users in an enterprise-level system, demonstrating the ability to handle complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.

Prior experience with a Hyperconverged on-prem cloud platform such as Nutanix or VMware.

Job Description
We are the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Experimentation Lab at Lockheed Martin, engineering and integrating new capability for the Missile Defense System. Our team works in small agile teams to develop sensors, algorithms, user interfaces, testing, cyber security, and other leading‑edge missile defense technologies.

The Work
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated System Administrator to join our team in Colorado Springs. This position will act as the first line of defense for user level interactions and issues. Responsibilities include supporting users in person, secure phone, email or instant message, diagnosing and troubleshooting remote user issues daily, supporting MDA flight tests, and integrating R&D systems into C2BMC and other X‑lab projects as needed.

Location and Travel
The position is located at Schriever, Space Force Base 10 miles east of Colorado Springs, CO and is 100% onsite. It may involve around 10% travel for customer sites throughout the U.S. and occasional support for off‑hour test events.
