Configuration/Change Management Services
LinTech Global Inc. is recruiting for a configuration/change management services role to support our contract at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) DDSB based in San Antonio, Texas.
Responsibilities
Document the approval, deployment, and configuration of all infrastructure system/service configuration items (CIs) into or that exist within the infrastructure production environment.
Manage and maintain the enterprise‑level Configuration Management Database (CMDB), implementing continuous process improvement, analyzing and modifying the current enterprise change framework, and providing status reporting for remediation actions and deployment plans.
Provide customers and government leads with accurate, timely information on infrastructure system/service CIs.
Document and track 100% of modifications using the established CMDB‑such as Remedy, ServiceNow, or other approved ITSM systems.
Provide training to change coordinators and initiators for using the CMDB.
Establish and ensure pertinent artifacts are generated and maintained to create functional and design baselines while solutions are being modified in the Enterprise Solutions Architecture (software and/or hardware).
Conduct configuration audit and verification activities to identify undocumented changes and limit service disruptions/outages.
Use change‑management status accounting strategies to keep board members, system owners, and stakeholders informed of anticipated, ongoing, and completed deployment or transition activities within the enterprise.
Conduct change‑ticket business reviews to standardize and strengthen change‑ticket content used by board members to determine risk acceptance and assist with impact and root‑cause analysis.
Gather all document configuration items (CIs) upon ticket completion, house relevant document CIs into the knowledge‑management repository, and advance tickets to closed.
Create and manage all configuration‑management foundation documents including the Enterprise CM Policy Letter, Enterprise CM Plan, Enterprise CM Plan Template Guide, Technical Review Board (TRB) Charter, Legacy Review Board (LRB) Charter, Configuration Control Board (CCB) Charter and/or Architecture Review Board (ARB) Charter, and change‑management diagrams.
Develop and institutionalize infrastructure CM policies, processes, procedures, and plans.
Direct and monitor the execution of periodic audits and develop strategies for corrective action.
Interface with other processes and business functions, serving as a subject‑matter expert for infrastructure CM activities.
Identify and capture infrastructure CI impact and dependency streams, assist with developing and documenting CM processes and artifacts.
Manage, track, and update infrastructure CI records—including asset attributes and relationship mapping—and analyze change‑request ticket data to create metric reports and presentations.
Conduct reviews of CM foundational documents before submission to the CM government team leads.
Qualifications
4 years of experience.
Active DoD Secret clearance or current DHA Public Trust.
Experience with CMDB in Remedy or ServiceNow.
