SALARY:
The salary range for this position is $46,785.80 to $88,550.66 for Schedule A, and $46,785.80 to $79,272.75 for Schedule B. For newly hired individuals the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range.

Duties
Perform exceptional customer service for internal and external customers by identifying concerns, responding to complaints, providing case information.
Identify cases to be scheduled for enforcement hearings and bench warrants.
Interpret financial data.
Conferring with other division staff to resolve case issues.
Respond to alert and call center referrals promptly and effectively.
Become proficient in and utilize technology systems such as NJKiDs, FACTS, JEDS, and eCourts.
Remote Work
The Judiciary offers a hybrid work schedule; this position may qualify for up to two days of remote work. A multifactor authentication app and high‑speed home internet are required.
NOTE:
If you are selected to serve in a bilingual variant title you must perform the above duties in both English and Spanish.
Minimum Qualifications
Two years of paraprofessional experience in casework involving the collection of facts, securing, and verifying socioeconomic data, preparing investigative reports, and interviewing individuals.
Substitution:
Applicants may substitute semester hour credits from an accredited college or university for the required experience on a year‑for‑year basis, with 30 semester hour credits equaling one year of experience.
BICAT Testing:
Candidates selected for a bilingual variant title must pass the New Jersey Civil Service Commission BICAT performance examination or provide proof of bilingual proficiency.
Physical Ability
Capacity to perform work that requires climbing, standing, stretching, bending, and reaching. Ability to lift and carry 30–50 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
Driver's License
A valid New Jersey driver’s license is required only if operating a vehicle is necessary for essential duties.
Authorization to Work
US citizenship is not required. Selected candidates must be authorized to work in the US in accordance with Department of Homeland Security regulations.
Special Note
Newly hired employees must agree to a background check that includes fingerprinting. All data will be kept in strict confidence except to inform the individual of findings and actions taken.
Residency Law
Newly hired employees must establish and maintain principal residence in New Jersey within one year of hire, unless an exemption is granted by the Employee Residency Review Committee.
