Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Per Diem Echo Tech. $2500 Sign‑on Bonus for qualified candidate. This position is responsible for operation of the sonography equipment and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations using sonography. Duties include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

Maintain a high standard of medical ethics at all times and self‑motivate to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve.

Interact with clinic, hospital staff and nursing departments regarding patient care, concerns, and conflicts by identifying and assisting in resolutions.

Assist physician during transesophageal echocardiography and perform transthoracic echocardiography including regular, contrast and dobutamine echocardiograms in conjunction with cardiac stress testing procedures utilizing 2D and M‑Mode with spectral and Doppler color flow velocity mapping in various areas of the heart and great vessels to aid in the diagnosis of cardiovascular disease or abnormalities.

Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as organizational skills.

Ability to multi‑task and perform in a fast‑paced environment.

Attend mandatory meetings.

Be available Monday‑Friday daytime shift.

Qualifications
Experience & Training

Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Cardiovascular Technology Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or hold a Bachelor or Associate of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology.

2 years’ experience in Echocardiography.

Certifications & Licenses

RDCS certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or RCS certification by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). New hires may also be registry eligible and must obtain certification within the first year of hire.

Current compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for specialty(ies) as appropriate.

BLS certification.

Skills & Abilities

Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

Proficiency in using office equipment such as fax machine, copier and telephone system.

Work in a well‑lit, OSHA Standard environment.

May be required to wear personal protective equipment as necessary.
