R-9121# **Job Description****Additional Job Information*** Sign-On Bonus Eligible $10,000* Relocation Assistance Eligible* 40 Hours per Week* On Call* 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.* 10 Hours Shifts, 4 Days per Week* Vascular experience preferred.* Proficiency in Stress Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography, and IV Contrast is preferred, though training is available.* Benefits begin on first day of employment* Free employee parking### ## **Overview****Job Summary**Performs adult transthoracic echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, stress echo exams and vascular ultrasound exams. Procedures include but are not limited to carotid Doppler, ABI/arterial Doppler, venous Doppler (DVT and venous Reflux).**Job Responsibilities*** Performs cardiovascular ultrasound imaging examinations.* Performs studies independently in both in-patient and outpatient setting as well as procedural areas such as the Cardiac Cath Lab and Operating room.* Maintains equipment and supplies.* Ensures proper documentation of procedures.* Collaborates with reading physicians and medical staff for diagnosis.* Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.**Minimum Qualifications*** Degree: High School Diploma or GED* Experience: <2 Years* Supervisor Experience: None Required* RDMS License/Certification or equivalent* BLS required within first 30 day of employment**Preferred Qualifications*** Degree: Associate Degree – Sonography* License/Certifications: RDCS, RCS, RVT, RVS**Work Shift**Day Shift (United States of America)**Legal Statement**The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this position.
