Associate Attorney

Our law firm has a full‑time associate attorney position available now, and we’re looking for the right professional to join our team. You will have the opportunity to learn from senior associates on legal issues and will provide legal counsel to new and existing clients. Responsibilities
Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action.
Resolve cases efficiently by communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals.
Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice.
Meet with potential clients to discuss their probate/guardianship issues and recommend the proper course of action.
Draft probate and guardianship documents.
Qualifications
Exceptional communication skills and problem‑solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients.
Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school.
Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA).
Prepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base.
Successful completion of the bar exam.
Compensation
$70,000 per year
