Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to develop, maintain, and secure our Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MEMCM) environment, including SCCM and Intune. This role involves administering virtual servers to support business operations, ensuring system stability, security, and compliance. Key responsibilities include installing, upgrading, and patching operating systems and complex software packages while adhering to IT policies and procedures. You will also schedule system updates, conduct routine software audits, and ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines. The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail‑oriented professional with strong analytical skills, capable of assessing both the broader IT environment and its intricate details. You should be adaptable, driven, and committed to delivering high‑quality business systems and services that support end users effectively.

Essential Functions
System Management & Administration (30%)

Administer, configure, and optimize SCCM (MEMCM) and Intune for endpoint management.

Deploy and manage software applications, updates, and patches.

Oversee Windows and mobile device management to ensure compliance and security.

Security & Compliance Management (20%)

Implement and enforce security policies, including BitLocker, Defender, and conditional access.

Monitor system health, vulnerabilities, and compliance baselines.

Perform audits and remediation to align with organizational and regulatory standards.

Troubleshooting & Support (20%)

Diagnose and resolve SCCM/Intune‑related issues affecting endpoint performance.

Provide Level 2/3 support for endpoint management, application deployment, and OS imaging.

Collaborate with helpdesk and IT teams to improve issue resolution times.

OS & Application Deployment (15%)

Create and manage Windows OS images, task sequences, and automation scripts.

Deploy and maintain enterprise software applications across managed devices.

Optimize deployment strategies for improved efficiency and user experience.

Monitoring, Reporting & Optimization (15%)

Utilize SCCM/Intune reporting tools to track system performance, device compliance, and software deployment status.

Analyze trends, generate reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Continuously evaluate new features and technologies to enhance system efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in information technology or related field with four years of system and application administration experience in an area related to assignment. An equivalent combination of the conferred degree, education, certification and directly related full‑time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.

Desired Qualifications

Four (4) years' experience working with Microsoft Endpoint Management Configuration Manager/System Center Configuration Manager, creating and deploying software application packages, and maintaining device collections.

Four (4) years' experience administering Microsoft Endpoint Management Solutions, such as Configuration Manager.

Two (2) years' experience working with server devices or Platform As A Service or Software As A Service solutions.

Four (4) years' experience working in a Customer Service Management System, such as ServiceNow.

Two (2) years' experience scripting using PowerShell or Bash or JavaScript or other programming language.

Two (2) years working in an educational environment.

Special Working Conditions

Work Schedule Varies.

May be required to work evenings and weekends.

May be required to sit for a prolonged period of time, viewing a computer monitor.
