Financial Analyst

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst with strong accounting and reconciliation experience to support financial reporting, promotional claims reconciliation, and payment analytics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP R/3, advanced Excel capabilities, and the ability to analyze financial data to provide actionable business insights.
Responsibilities
Analyze actual operating results, interpret financial data, and present findings to management.
Respond to budget and financial reporting requests from stakeholders.
Reconcile promotional claims and POS (Point of Sale) activity.
Investigate and resolve payment reconciliation discrepancies arising from audits, exception reports, or remittance changes.
Generate reports to validate payments and resolve financial variances.
Reconnect carrier commissions against in-store reporting to ensure accurate and timely payments.
Deliver financial reporting, analytics, and spending insights to business stakeholders.
Build spreadsheets, reports, charts, and financial models to support decision-making.
Analyze business and financial trends to forecast revenues, expenses, and operational performance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5 to 7 years of financial analysis and/or accounting experience.
Strong accounting and reconciliation background.
Hands-on experience with SAP R/3 or similar ERP systems.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting, reconciliations).
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
