
Leave of Absence Administrator ($30 - $33)

Position Summary
Temporary Assignment with the potential to become full-time associate.
Location: Onsite five days a week in Newport Beach, CA.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for administering the company’s Leave of Absence (LOA) matters from end-to-end, including partnering with our leave third-party administrator as assigned, providing required paperwork, tracking requests/approvals/return-to-work, and case management.
Responsible for managing requests for employee accommodations (ADA), including conducting the interactive process with the associate and the manager, as well as reviewing supporting documentation, tracking the request, and performing the routine follow-ups as needed.
Support and provide guidance to managers and Associates on a wide variety of requests, including data transactions, HR policies and procedures, benefits, and payroll.
Record management, including electronic storage of Associate files; file production for subpoenas and written requests.
Facilitate end-to-end Associate life-cycle transactions, including onboarding, data changes, transfers, and termination, and all associated data entries and documentation.
Process payroll data related to referral bonuses, special payments, severance payments, and disability benefits.
Recommend process improvements for all HR Operations functions, SOPs, and recurring tasks; participate in departmental projects and objectives as assigned.
General office support duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
1+ years of Human Resources experience.
Leave of absence knowledge as related to federal and state laws is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
Compensation
Pay Range: $30 - $33/hr
Actual placement within this range may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
