Overview

Position Title: Human Resources Representative Unit Coordinator. Location: Las Cruces, NM. Department: 350450-DONA ANA HEADSTART PGM. College/Division: College of Hlth, Educ & Soc Trans. Appointment: Full-time. FLSA Status: Non-Exempt. Standard Work Schedule: M-F, 8-5. Contingent Upon Funding: External funding. External/Internal Search: External - Open to all applicants. Advertising Summary: NMSU HeadStart serving Dona Ana County is in need of an HR Partner to support our 5 campuses and 11 classrooms in multiple southern NM towns.
Position Details

Office location: Las Cruces. Target hourly/salary rate: 17.85. Location and offsite location information as applicable.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with HR related tasks within the department including proxy timesheet reviewer, monitoring and tracking leave requests, submitting ePAFs, submitting I-9 information to college liaison, completing and submitting new employee data cards, submitting paper timesheets and leave adjustment forms, creating and submitting PAFs, mass duplicating and distributing standard end of year letters and welcome back letters, assisting with onboarding tasks and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

High School diploma + 3 years of relevant experience or an Associate\'s Degree + 1 year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in HR related positions.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Environment:

Work is normally performed indoors.
Physical Effort:

Light physical effort. Effort applies to no more than two (2) hours per day.
Lifting Requirements:

Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 10 pounds or some standing or walking.
Risk:

No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
