Overview
We are seeking a Mid‑level Scrum Master to serve as a servant‑leader and coach for our Agile teams. This role facilitates team learning and growth, driving the development of a Lean/Agile operating model. The ideal candidate will work with teams to continuously improve productivity, predictability, and transparency while guiding Agile ceremonies, release planning, and impediment removal. This position fosters an inclusive culture, ensuring team members are fully engaged and collaborate effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the Scrum Master for an assigned Agile team within a specified product or feature area.
Coach team members on adherence to Lean/Agile methodology.
Consult with the product owner/manager on Lean/Agile benefits, including improved project control, risk reduction, and enhanced delivery.
Escalate and track complex cross‑team issues and impediments to management for resolution.
Facilitate preparation and readiness for cross‑team feature alignment and planning events.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams through all technology and process development steps.
Provide input to development managers on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks.
Ensure the team utilizes appropriate tools and quality processes, such as pair programming and automated test coverage.
Collect, interpret, and communicate metrics regarding team performance to identify challenges and suggest resolutions.
Drive team productivity improvements and communicate the outcome of initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 2 years of experience in a related field.
Mid‑level experience; a few years of relevant experience are required.
Skills
Analytical thinking and effective presentations.
Managing multiple priorities and project administration/management.
Building partnerships, driving innovation, and focusing on execution.
