Job Description
Our client, a boutique plaintiff's personal injury law firm, is adding an associate attorney to their experienced team of attorneys. Responding attorneys should have 2-5 years of hands‑on plaintiff's experience handling premises liability, automobile accidents, medical malpractice, and product liability matters. Candidates must be in good standing with the PA Bar. NJ Bar is a big plus. Candidates must be able to handle a large volume of cases.
Responsibilities:
Handle all aspects of litigation and negotiation from intake to trial.
Appear for court conferences, depositions, mediations.
Communicate with experts.
Prepare clients for depositions and trials.
Draft, prepare and review summons, complaints, stipulations, and discovery responses and requests.
Manage support staff team including a paralegal and legal assistant.
Maintain communication with clients and manage expectations.
Qualifications:
2-5 years Personal Injury Plaintiff experience.
Dependable self-starter with a strong work ethic.
Familiarity with the relevant laws in PA and NJ pertaining to personal injury claims.
Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work both as part of a team and independently while prioritizing numerous tasks and completing them under time constraints.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
