Associate Attorney II — Los Angeles (Century City, Onsite)
Knight Law Group is hiring an Associate Attorney II who wants more ownership, more courtroom exposure, and faster development than most firms offer at this stage. If you already have solid fundamentals and you’re ready to take real responsibility, this role is built for that.

What You’ll Do
Draft motions and supporting papers; prepare for and appear at hearings as appropriate
Manage written discovery: propound, respond, meet-and-confer, and elevate issues strategically
Take and defend depositions (clients, fact witnesses; expert exposure as you progress)
Represent clients at case management conferences, ex parte appearances, and other court proceedings
Support trial teams with strategy development, witness prep, and trial documents
Mentor junior associates on drafting, organization, and case execution
What “Excellent” Looks Like Here
In the first 60–90 days, you:
produce clean work product with increasing speed and sound judgment
stay on top of deadlines, communicate early, and manage your tasks without reminders
handle discovery and motion work with discipline and professionalismearn trust to take on higher-stakes work (more depos, more hearings, more case ownership)
Requirements
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
California Bar license in good standing
2–4 years of litigation experience (motion and/or deposition experience preferred)
Strong writing, organization, and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a paperless environment and adopting new tools
Spanish bilingual skills a plus (not required)
Team-oriented, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
