Job Description
Oakwood Legal Group, LLP is a well-established and fast-growing law firm based in Los Angeles. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Employment Law Paralegal to join our legal team full-time.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in employment litigation, specifically involving wage and hour disputes, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation claims. Responsibilities
Draft and respond to written discovery in employment law matters
Propound discovery and track deadlines
Draft deposition notices and assist with calendaring
Coordinate with clients to complete discovery responsesFile documents with the court (e-filing and in person)
Assist attorneys with trial prep
Research employment statutes, regulations, and administrative procedures
Requirements
Excellent communication and time management skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Experience with legal case management software (e.g., Filevine, Smart Advocate, etc.)
Prior experience as a litigation paralegal preferred
Familiarity with employment law and related administrative processes
