Responsibilities
Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems such as McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak.
Monitor equipment performance to specification.
Assist the supervisor in maintaining adequate supplies for patient care.
Ensure that exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
Assist radiologists in performing exams with clinical excellence.
Use independent decision-making and critical thinking in emergencies.
Candidates should be efficient, detail-oriented, and possess strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety. Compassion, sensitivity, and strong communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, families, and vendors are essential.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Interventional Radiographer.
Independent decision-making skills.
Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively.
Capable of maintaining regular attendance.
Meet all local health regulations and complete a post-offer health assessment.
Physical and sensory requirements: walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine-hand coordination, pushing, pulling, hearing pages, reading and writing, communicating verbally and in writing, remaining calm under stress, distinguishing smells, tastes, temperatures.
Minimum 2 years of experience.
