Job Summary
Focus Staff is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Barrington, Illinois, beginning May 4 2026. The role involves performing vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures and supporting the radiology team.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret safety rules, procedures, and maintenance instructions.
Develop and maintain skills in clinical systems such as McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, and Teletrak.
Monitor equipment performance and ensure it meets specifications.
Assist the supervisor in maintaining sufficient supplies for patient care.
Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam.
Assist radiologists in performing exams, providing clinical excellence.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Interventional Radiographer.
Independent decision‑making skills.
Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions.
Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
Ability to work cooperatively with other employees.
Capable of maintaining regular attendance.
Meet all local health regulations and successfully complete a post‑offer health assessment.
Physical and sensory abilities, including walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, fine hand coordination, hearing and responding to pages, reading and writing, and remaining calm under stress.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay dependent on location and experience; schedule: 4 days of 10‑hour shifts per week (40 hours total).
