Job Summary
Fast growing DME company is looking for experienced Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapists for part-time position (PRN) in Jacksonville.
This is an immediate opening.
Requirements
Candidates with HME experience preferred
Experience in setting up CPAP, BiPAP, Home Ventilation Therapy & Respiratory Therapy Equipment
Knowledge of various types of mask interface systems
Consult with physicians to develop patient treatment plans
Enforce safety rules and ensure careful adherence to physicians' orders
Computer proficiency
Responsibilities
Meet with and evaluate a variety of patients
Make recommendations on respiratory care based on their specific needs and situations
Setup and educate patients on Vent/pap and other respiratory related medical equipment.
Work with both the family and the patient to ensure their needs are being met, and they understand what is happening.
Qualifications
Active credentials from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state board equivalent required
State licensure required
Deep understanding of respiratory care, patient care, and best patient practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
