Coral Shores Behavioral Health is seeking a talented and dynamic Licensed Therapist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals!
Coral Shores Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS, is an 80-bed adolescent and adult Baker Act receiving facility located in Stuart, Florida. Our professional staff provide high‑quality, individualized care to fit the intensity and severity of each patient’s needs and offer a continuum of mental health and addiction services in a confidential, caring environment that promotes crisis resolution, positive self‑awareness, personal growth and problem-solving. Coral Shores is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Position Summary:
The IOP Therapist performs clinical functions to include assisting patients in meeting their goals while enabling them to access, through therapeutic treatment skills, the resources to achieve their optimal level of emotional health. This includes providing basic consultation, teaching, comprehensive specialized clinical social work services for patients and families, crisis intervention, short‑term and long‑term family therapy, group therapy, providing information and referrals as needed, and individual therapy when ordered by an MD. Provides a variety of psychotherapeutic services including, family and individual therapy (adults and children) in an outpatient psychiatric behavioral health center setting. Includes patients with co‑occurring disorders, psychiatric disorders, substance use disorders and other behavioral disorders.
Shift:
Evening 4:00‑8:30pm
Qualifications
Education:
Master's Degree from an accredited school in Social Work, or Mental Health Counseling.
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required or equivalent
Experience:
One (1) year of experience working in a Behavioral Health Center or psychiatric counseling setting with adults and/or children treating co‑occurring, mentally ill, or chemically dependent patients, with an understanding of co‑occurring disorders, and Cultural Linguistic Diversity amongst patients.
Licensure:
Licensed in FL - LMHC or LCSW, CPR certification
