Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR RN)
We are seeking an experienced Travel OR RN for a 13-week assignment in a high-acuity surgical environment. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong vascular and endovascular experience who is comfortable scrubbing and taking call in a fast-paced OR setting.
Job Overview

Schedule: 4x10s (Day Shift with Call)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Setting: Acute Care Hospital (Level 1 Trauma Center)
Responsibilities
Provide direct perioperative nursing care in the operating room
Circulate and
scrub
on surgical cases as required
Assist with vascular and endovascular (IR) procedures
Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and ensure safety
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical teams
Maintain sterile technique and adhere to surgical protocols
Document all patient care accurately in the EMR
Requirements
Active RN license (must be in hand at time of submission or in process)
BLS certification required
Minimum
2+ years of OR experience required
Scrubbing experience required
Experience with
vascular and endovascular (IR) procedures required
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Additional Details
4x10 day shift schedule with call
Weekend call: every 3rd weekend (Saturday–Monday)
Holiday call rotation required
30-minute call response time
Floating may be required to support other surgical teams
Additional Information
Level 1 trauma environment with complex surgical cases
Orientation includes scrub training with surgical tech team
Facility has established OR support staff including techs and charge nurses
Strict compliance requirements including drug screening and full submission packet
Local candidates accepted at adjusted rate
All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
