RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
Work in a 27-bed emergency department with patient ratios of 4-6:1
Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, and 2-3 medics with additional RNs added at 11am and 3pm
Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, and 2-3 medics
Weekend requirement of four weekend shifts (Friday or Saturday for nights; Saturday or Sunday for days) in a four-week scheduling period
No on-call responsibilities
Must have completed 2-3 travel assignments
Must have 2-3 years ER experience required
High acuity ER experience with fast-paced, high-volume environments preferred
Experience with patient ratios of 5:1 preferred
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
Preferred certifications: ENPC, NRP, NIH
Use Meditech EMR system
Perform procedures including RSI, sepsis interventions, stroke protocol with tPA administration, central line placement, psych patient care, and transfers to other facilities
Dress code requires navy blue or white scrubs
No floating to other units
