Overview
ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
Work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Rotating weekend requirement up to 2 per 4-week schedule
No scheduled on-call requirement, but may be placed on call if unit or hospital has low census
Floating requirement when census or acuity is low; staff will be floated as needed
Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served
Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner
Handle emergency/crisis situations and work in stressful professional relationships
Must have current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served
Communicate in a clear, concise manner appropriate to the developmental age of the patient
Qualifications
Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license
BLS, ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), TNCC or ATCN
Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
CP I or equivalent preferred
Bloodborne pathogen exposure awareness required
Must have manual dexterity, fine motor coordination, and visual/hearing acuity within normal limits
