Laboratory Technician
We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests supporting research, product development, and quality control. The ideal candidate will be skilled in laboratory procedures, equipment handling, and data analysis, ensuring reliable results that contribute to innovation and compliance with environmental and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses of solids, liquids, and gases.
Optimize laboratory procedures to produce accurate and reliable results.
Handle sensitive equipment to analyze samples and report findings to the laboratory manager.
Receive, label, and analyze biological and chemical samples (blood, tissue, toxic substances, etc.).
Design and execute laboratory tests according to standard procedures, interpret findings, and validate hypotheses.
Organize and store chemicals, fluids, and compressed gases in compliance with safety protocols.
Record data and results accurately in both paper and electronic formats.
Maintain laboratory equipment and assist with ordering supplies.
Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and maintain a clean, orderly environment.
Education & Qualifications
Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, terminology, and materials.
Skilled in statistical analysis, report preparation, and laboratory documentation.
Must-Have Skills
English language proficiency
Basic Office 365 skills
Strong communication and coordination abilities
Attention to detail and follow-up skills
Ability to learn new tools for data extraction and report generation (training provided)
Applied critical thinking and deductive reasoning
Computer literacy with decent technical skills
Fine attention to detail
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
Pattern recognition for data and sample analysis
