High Throughput Screening Scientist – Chemical Biology & Therapeutics
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is seeking a Senior Biochemist/Biophysicist to design and implement high‑throughput biochemical and biophysical assays and screens, including developing direct binding assays to quantify compound‑protein interactions. The Scientist will report to the Director of the HTB Center, lead collaborative projects, publish or present research findings, and assist in daily operations of the Center.

Responsibilities

Design and develop high‑throughput biochemical/biophysical assays and screens.

Implement and optimize direct binding assays to quantify compound‑protein interactions.

Analyze screening data, perform quality control, and apply data‑analysis techniques.

Lead and manage collaborative projects and laboratory activities.

Present and publish research results and contribute to scientific collaborations.

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific area is required.

Minimum Experience

Seven (7) years of post‑degree work experience with a Bachelor’s degree.

Five (5) years of post‑degree work experience with a Master’s degree.

Three (3) years of post‑degree work experience with a PhD.

Compensation
Estimated salary range: $86,320 – $154,960 per year. Compensation is determined based on skills, experience, licensure, and other organizational needs.
