ICU RN – we will train the right candidate who has at least 1 year of current M/S, Tele, Stepdown, or PCU hospital nursing experience.

As a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, you will care for critically ill adult patients requiring intensive monitoring and care, including post‑surgery or due to medical conditions such as cardiac care. The ICU works closely with the Special Care Unit.

Requirements

BSN preferred.

RNs without a BSN must enroll in a BSN program within 6 months and complete the degree within 5 years of their start date.

Previous specialty clinical experience preferred for specialty units.

Current Maryland RN license or licensure in a compact state that allows practice in Maryland.

CPR/BLS certification required (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted).

ACLS required.

Important Notices

Applicants with an associate’s degree in nursing must enroll in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of their start date.

Salary
Minimum $37.13 per hour – maximum $57.87 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
