PHARMACIST (PER DIEM)

Responsibilities
We are currently hiring an experienced Pharmacist responsible for day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy under the direction of the Pharmacy Director.
Pharmacist (PRN) duties include:
Ensures compliance to all federal and state regulations for controlled substances.
Assures appropriate handling, documentation, and control of controlled substances.
Maintains adequate medication supply.
Assists Director of Clinical Services and Nursing with tracking medication errors and adverse drug reactions, and develops and implements improved procedures to minimize and prevent future adverse medication events.
Ensures the integrity of the medication supply and establishes specifications for the procurement of medications, chemicals, and biologicals.
Qualifications
Registered Pharmacist. Licensed in the state of Georgia.
