Chestnut Hill Allergy & Asthma Associates, LLC is seeking a reliable, motivated, and patient‑focused Medical Assistant to join our busy allergy practice in our Wyndmoor location. This is a full‑time position with a Monday–Friday schedule, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced clinical environment and enjoys working as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs and medical histories
Assist providers during patient visits and procedures
Perform allergy skin testing and spirometry breathing tests for asthma patients
Assist with and monitor oral food/medication challenges
Support and monitor patients undergoing Oral Immunotherapy (OIT)
Administer allergy injections under physician supervision
Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking
Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record – eClinicalworks
Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and immunotherapy
Assist with scheduling, prior authorizations, and general office workflow as needed
Respond promptly to patient needs while maintaining a high level of professionalism and compassion
Willing to cover both locations if coverage needed (Center City/Wyndmoor)
Qualifications
Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred (allergy experience a plus)
Certification preferred but not required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
Team‑oriented with a willingness to help others during busy workflows
Comfortable with injections and direct patient care
eClinicalworks (EMR) experience preferred
