Light Industrial/Manufacturing – Test & Evaluation Lab Tech 1 – Seattle, WA – Posted 4/24/2026 – Pay $21–$26/hr – Associate (W2), Shift 1.
Job Description
Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures, and test systems. Facilitates systems integration, fabrication, and modification; supports system pre‑test setup, integration, checkout, and post‑test tear‑down. Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results. Troubleshoots basic laboratory and test‑related problems. Works under close supervision. Must be a U.S. person and able to obtain security clearance.
Responsibilities
Obtain appropriate drawings, specifications, documents, and sketches using online computing systems. Perform system installation measurement using general test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, meters) and troubleshoot if measurements are not within specification. Install, remove, or modify experimental/production aircraft wiring using mechanical and electrical hand tools to meet engineering specifications per non‑conformance reports and specifications. Troubleshoot and repair faults as required.
Assist in the development method and procedures to diagnose and correct malfunctions when methods and procedures have not been established.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Effectively accomplish tasks, duties, and responsibilities of this job requires the following attributes:
Ability to analyze and calculate circuit values (basic understanding of Ohm's law, series and parallel resistance calculations, Faraday's law of induction, Kirchhoff's current law).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Operate general test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, meters) and interpret results.
Knowledge of routing, clamping, tying, connecting and terminating wires and/or wire bundles in electrical systems and assemblies per the appropriate electrical codes.
Ability to troubleshoot using schematics and wiring diagrams to determine faulty components to replace or repair.
Effectively communicate information.
Education / Experience
Associate's degree in a related discipline.
