Job Description
Speech & Language Pathologist – Acute (SLP). Expect to evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy for speech, language, and swallowing disorders. The role may include working with adults recovering from stroke or respiratory disease, as well as children with speech delays or cognitive communication disorders.
Responsibilities include acclimating quickly to new workflows and charting systems, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
Start date: ASAP. Available shifts: 8 D. Pay rate: $3,230 – $3,329 per shift.
Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, Acute
Licence: SLP – NY
Certification: ASHA – American Speech Language Hearing Association
Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology
NYS licensure and clinical certification in Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
Completion of a clinical fellowship year
Outpatient experience required
Must pass pre-employment health clearance
SSN and DOB required
