
U-Haul University Summer Intern

Position Overview
The U-Haul University Intern will support the development and continuous improvement of educational content across the organization. This role focuses on reviewing existing courses to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in grammar, tone, and overall instructional quality. The intern will play a key role in enhancing the learner experience by helping ensure all educational materials meet U-Haul University standards. As time and experience allow, the intern may also contribute to building and developing new course content.
Key Responsibilities
Review U-Haul University courses for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and overall readability
Evaluate educational content for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with U-Haul terminology and standards
Provide feedback on course flow, structure, and overall learning experience
Identify outdated or unclear content and recommend updates or improvementsCollaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to implement revisions
Assist in maintaining course quality checklists and review processes
Configure quiz questions from question banks into the normal course assessments
Support special projects related to course updates and new educational content development
As time allows, assist in building and developing new course content (e.g., drafting lessons, creating interactions, or supporting course design in eLearning tools)
Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and proofreading ability
Interest in education, learning experience design, or communications
Ability to provide constructive, clear, and professional feedback
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required
Experience with eLearning tools (e.g., Rise 360, Storyline) is a plus but not required
