Responsibilities
We are seeking a Mental Health Professional to join our program in Lake Charles, LA. The Mental Health Professionals (MHP) are an essential part of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. The multidisciplinary team provides evidence‑based services to members diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness. The MHP provides individual and group therapy to consumers in service, creates person‑centered treatment plans, reviews and adjusts the crisis plan as required, and performs psychosocial assessments. The role requires maintaining thorough and timely clinical documentation such as progress notes, assessments, and interpretative summaries, and providing crisis intervention and support.
Qualifications
Must have an active driver’s license within Louisiana.
Masters degree in human services field.
Willing to work in a community‑based setting.
Must have an active PLPC/LMSW within Louisiana.
Compensation
Earn $26.44/hour
+ $7,500/yearly mileage stipend
