We’re seeking a dedicated, compassionate mental health clinician to join our behavioral health team within the Jackson County jail system. This role is ideal for a clinician who values autonomy, meaningful work, and the opportunity to support a vulnerable population.
Responsibilities
Provide mental health assessments, crisis intervention, and short-term counseling.
Support individuals experiencing acute mental health needs.
Collaborate with correctional staff and healthcare providers.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Promote continuity of care and referrals when appropriate.
Qualifications
Active Oregon clinical license:
LCSW, LPC, or LMSW - required.
Experience in crisis work, corrections, community mental health, or similar settings preferred.
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a secure facility.
