We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Phlebotomist to join a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood specimens, ensuring proper labeling and handling, and providing a positive experience for patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture on patients of all ages
Properly label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
Verify patient identification and ensure accurate test orders
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines at all times
Accurately document procedures in electronic medical records (EMR)
Provide excellent customer service while minimizing patient discomfort
Qualifications
Phlebotomy Certification
2 years of phlebotomy experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Pay and Benefits
Pay range: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour.
