Position Overview
Personal Assistant – Prof/Director & Clinical Service Director, Infectious Diseases Program (Permanent Full Time – 80 hrs per fortnight).

About the Role
This position provides personal assistant support to the Professor/Director and the Clinical Service Director of the Alfred Infectious Diseases Program. Key responsibilities include diary management, coordinating meetings, preparing documents, reception duties, overseeing office facilities, and administrative support for the program's operations. The role also covers secretarial duties during leave and assists with internal and external events such as symposia, seminars, and conferences.

Responsibilities

Diary and schedule management for senior leadership.

Reception and on‑site office administration.

Preparation and proofreading of documents.

Coordination of meetings, events and conferences.

Assistance with project work and research support.

Qualifications
Essential:

Successful completion of a secretarial course or similar qualification.

Minimum 5 years experience in a PA/Administrative Assistant role.

Desirable:

Experience in a healthcare setting.
