Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Attorney to join our nationally recognized Healthcare Practice Group in Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to work with sophisticated healthcare clients on complex regulatory, transactional, and compliance matters in a collaborative, entrepreneurial law firm environment.

The Healthcare Attorney will advise a diverse range of healthcare providers, investors, and organizations on regulatory, transactional, and operational issues affecting the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of federal and Florida healthcare laws and a practical, business-oriented approach to legal problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

Advise healthcare clients on regulatory compliance matters, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA and HITECH, Medicare and Medicaid regulations.

Provide counsel on healthcare transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliation and management agreements, provider contracting.

Assist healthcare organizations with licensing, certification, and enrollment matters at the federal and state levels.

Support clients with internal compliance programs, audits, investigations, and risk mitigation strategies.

Draft, review, and negotiate healthcare related agreements and policies.

Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups, including corporate, tax, labor & employment, and litigation.

Stay current on evolving healthcare laws, regulations, and industry trends.

Contribute to client development efforts and firm thought leadership initiatives.

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school.

Admission to the Florida Bar (or ability to obtain admission promptly).

5+ years of healthcare law experience (law firm or in‑house preferred).

Strong knowledge of federal and Florida healthcare regulatory frameworks.

Experience advising healthcare providers, health systems, physician groups, or healthcare investors.

Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage client relationships.

Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

Experience with private equity–backed healthcare transactions.

Familiarity with value‑based care arrangements and alternative payment models.

Prior experience with healthcare compliance programs or government investigations.

Salary
$200,000 - $250,000 per year.
