Job Details
Hybrid REMOTE: 3 days in office per week, located in Nashville, Tennessee.
Salary: $240,000 - $480,000 per year.
Responsibilities
Advise healthcare clients on day-to-day operational and regulatory matters
Counsel clients on provider and facility licensing requirements
Provide guidance on Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and regulatory compliance
Analyze and advise on issues related to the federal Stark Law and federal and state anti‑kickback statutes
Assist clients with healthcare fraud and abuse compliance matters
Support regulatory risk assessments and enforcement‑related matters
Provide guidance on healthcare privacy issues and regulatory considerations in healthcare mergers and acquisitions
Qualifications
3 to 6 years of experience practicing healthcare regulatory law at a reputable law firm
Demonstrated experience in healthcare compliance and regulatory analysis
Experience with facility licensing, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, fraud, waste and abuse compliance, healthcare privacy, and regulatory aspects of healthcare transactions strongly preferred
Strong academic credentials and exceptional legal writing skills
Excellent attention to detail and drafting ability
Ability to manage complex regulatory matters in a collaborative environment
Additional Requirements
Must reside in the Nashville, TN area at the time of hire
Must be licensed or willing to become licensed to practice law in Tennessee
Hybrid schedule with at least three days per week in the office
