Marketing Communications Specialist

External Marketing Communications Manager
Purpose of Job
The Division MarCom Specialist creates and implements effective marketing campaigns that support their division’s business strategies. They collaborate closely with product management to ensure new products are effectively brought to market. This involves reviewing the marketing book and launch book with product champions, project engineering, and S&C to ensure the final books incorporate a marketing plan that aligns with the product or service positioning. This also includes supporting the creation of marketing materials, such as product sheets, external webpages, and Elevate 360 workspaces. The role also collaborates with the Central Marketing and Communication teams and occasionally other divisions to build integrated marketing campaigns that align with division strategic pillars and articulate value to customers.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
Are brand advocates supporting the master brand
Collaborate with product management using the marketing book and launch book to identify appropriate potential names for new products and services
Collaborate with product management using the marketing book and launch book to create impactful product introduction plans communicating clear value propositions to customers
Support creation of marketing collateral: product sheets, case studies, webpages, renders/images, animations, news releases, and the MyPaper process
Create & maintain on‑brand templates: i.e. Performance bulletins, BL family brochures, and LinkedIn
Create dedicated workspaces, load and maintain collateral into Elevate 360 (sales assets managed by PCs)
Support content for tech days and tradeshows as needed
Collaborate with product management team on technology
Monitor and report external advertising performance
Skills Needed
Strong organization skills
Good communication skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders that are senior in the organization
Ability to facilitate large groups
Good time management to handle multiple competing deadlines
Additional Skills
Technical background or marketing background
Technical background allows faster understanding of new products and services, customer drivers, and the value of features and benefits
Marketing background understands channels, SEO, personas, and other tactics used on the job
Previous S&C beneficial – this aids in understanding and articulating value propositions
