We're seeking a dedicated and caring Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient office on the campus of Hartford Hospital and the Bone & Joint Institute. The office is also a walking distance to our state‑of‑the‑art employee fitness center. This location offers a great opportunity for care coordination with system providers and is part of a team dedicated to health equity. The office is comprised of a multidisciplinary team that includes Occupational and Speech Therapy.
Position Description
The Physical Therapist (PT) independently evaluates, determines treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged physical dysfunction or pain. The role emphasizes evaluating strength, motor control, joint mobility, soft tissue integrity, pain, balance, coordination, posture, cardiopulmonary function, endurance, gait and functional activities of daily living. The PT applies exercise and other therapeutic procedures to maximize the patient's functional independence.

Qualifications
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
Current State of CT Physical Therapy license required or active temporary license at time of hire.
Previous experience as a Physical Therapist preferred; open to well‑qualified new graduates.
