Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist for our South Windsor clinic. The clinic includes Occupational and Physical Therapists serving a diverse patient population across specialties including sports medicine, orthopedics, workers’ comp., TMJ, vestibular and concussion management. Opportunities to collaborate with the Bone & Joint Institute and the sports medicine team are available.
Position Specifics
Physical Therapist (PT) independently evaluates, determines treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services to identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged physical dysfunction or pain, with emphasis on physical dysfunction. Responsibilities include evaluation of strength, motor control, joint mobility, soft tissue integrity, pain, balance, coordination, posture, cardiopulmonary function, endurance, gait, and functional abilities in activities of daily living. The PT applies physical and chemical agents, exercise, and other procedures to maximize patient functional independence.

Qualifications
Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program from an accredited American Physical Therapy Association school (BS, MS, or Doctoral degree).
CT active or temporary license.
