Palm Point Behavioral Health is a 74-bed behavioral health hospital located in Titusville, Florida, minutes from Cape Canaveral. Palm Point Behavioral Health treats adults, children and adolescents with a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses, including depression, anxiety and substance abuse, in a modern and well-appointed facility. Palm Point Behavioral Health offers inpatient treatment options and serves communities in Brevard County and beyond. Titusville is on Florida’s Space Coast, with access to local attractions and amenities.
Palm Point is currently recruiting for
ACTIVITY THERAPIST . The Activity Therapist conducts activity therapy to improve functioning and independence and to provide activity resources and opportunities for all patients, with a focus on improving health and well-being. Responsibilities include conducting activity assessments on patients, conducting therapeutic activity groups, maintaining the health and safety of patients, completing and documenting evaluations of progress, and participating in treatment team discussions.
Shift/Hours: Full-time, varied.

Qualifications
Education: Master’s Degree in Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Bachelor’s Degree in an associated discipline with Certified Recreation Therapist (CTRS) certification.
Licensure/Certification: Registered Art Therapist, Certified Music Therapist, Registered Occupational Therapist, Registered Physical Therapist, Certified Recreation Therapist, Certified Yoga Instructor.
Experience: Two (2) years of experience providing Activity Therapy. Preference for a minimum of two (2) years in a psychiatric setting with children, adolescents and adult populations.
