Position Details
Speech Language Pathologist role with flexible scheduling. Responsibilities center on pediatric therapy and evaluations, with opportunities in multiple settings including homes, daycare centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
Job Description
Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children from birth to 21 years in natural settings.
Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over.
Follow the individualized therapy plan, plan ongoing treatment, and address identified goals while documenting progress.
Prepare progress reports as indicated and maintain confidential child and family records in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations. Submit required records within established timelines.
Requirements
Must have a passion for working with children and families.
New York State Licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
Self-motivated, team-oriented, patient, and professional.
Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, using a personal vehicle, public transportation, or other means as needed.
Ability to ascend and descend stairs.
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/or crawl for extended periods.
Compensation & Benefits
Starting wage per evaluation: $135–$190; hourly range $66–$120.
Compensation based on experience and education, discussed during the interview process.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k; access to a paperless billing and data collection system (training provided); support from clinical supervisors and administrative staff; and financial educational assistance when applicable.
Clinical Fellowship Year positions available.
