
Sonographer (RDMS/ARRT) – Ultrasound | Acute Care | Hot Springs, AR

Our client is seeking an
Acute Care Sonographer
to perform high‑quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations to support accurate clinical decision‑making. This role provides imaging services across multiple specialties, ensuring safe, compassionate, and efficient care for patients in an acute‑care environment.
Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance
Work Schedule:
Day Shift | 3×12‑hour shifts (flexible) | Rotating Call
Responsibilities:
Participate in on‑call rotations as assigned.
Maintain equipment cleanliness, functionality, and safety standards.
Perform high‑quality ultrasound studies including abdominal, obstetric, vascular, neonatal, pelvic, breast, and small‑parts imaging.
Ensure proper patient identification, positioning, and safety throughout all procedures.
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support timely and accurate diagnoses.
Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records in accordance with departmental standards.
Follow established protocols while adapting techniques to meet patient needs and clinical conditions.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
ARRT or DMS certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Excellent communication and patient‑care skills.
Current state license in good standing (as applicable)
Ability to remain calm and effective in fast‑paced clinical environments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to image quality.
Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
Strong technical proficiency across multiple ultrasound modalities.
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in an acute‑care or hospital setting.
Five (5) years of experience in diagnostic ultrasound (preferred)
